31 For I the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance.
It seems brutal, but it's true. God gave us commandments, and he expects us to live them. If we don't it doesn't mean He hates you, because He will always love you, it just means that he's not really in love with the actions that you are taking in your life at the time. He just wants you to live up to those commandments, and can't condone sin, even though he loves you.
