4 For behold the field is white already to harvest; and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul;
Love this one too. The promise from verse two is reiterated in this verse. If you put everything you've got into working in the missionary field serving God's children and preaching the gospel then you are building up a source that will help bring you salvation. When I disect Section 4 like this, I can't imagine why anyone would not want to serve a mission at least once in their life. We had a great activity last night at church where we had to prepare a four minute lesson in fifteen minutes, much like missionaries, and I had the same feeling after coming out after that. Who wouldn't want to serve a mission? Sure the work is hard, but who can pass up the blessings?
